My brother had a layover in Dallas on his way home to California after serving a mission in Paraguay for two years. We decided to take a family trip up there to see him. We had the brilliant idea to go camping in Dallas the night before so we could meet Uncle Jake at the airport bright and early for breakfast. The weather was against us, it was 35 degrees that night and snowed the next morning! It was one of those very memorable family outings. It was awesome to see Jake though. Rivka was soo~o excited! She was singing about Uncle Jake the whole 5 hour drive to Dallas. He had lots of trinkets from Paraguay for us. Rivka loved the flag and the hat for Daddy the best. After we sent Elder Kennington on his connecting flight we decided to swing by the Kimbell art museum since we were in the neighborhood. Enoch drooled over the architectural splendor for awhile and Rivka loved pointing out all the paintings of baby Jesus. We also peeked outside for a minute to play with the falling snow. What a fun weekend!
