I read an article in the NY Times today about the drought in the Central Valley. Apparently ya'll are headed for the next big dust bowl. Maybe the grapes of wrath will be heading east this time around. Time to come back to Oklahoma (Texas will work too...).

My favorite part of said article was a snippet about how Orange County is pumping treated sewage back into the aquifer to keep the land from sinking. "The pumped water will, of course, mingle with the groundwater and soon become part of the regular water supply, coming through residents' faucets". Yum, Yum! I can just hear it now....'Mom..? Are these toilet paper particles floating in my water?'.....
