The name Jude

We're going with a Biblical theme here, so our choices are limited. I realize that Rivka may not be the trendiest name around. People hear it, need it repeated several times to get it right, then nod and say "how interesting". But with Jude people respond with "I love that name!" and often break out into song.

I considered possible butcherings of the name- Judy being at the top of the list. But I thought that I could steer people away from that. But it is so sweet when Hosanna says it...

So we were at school the other day to pick up Riv and some third graders were shouting to their friend Judith (I cannot believe that name is still in circulation) and yes my son kept turning around. Maybe I'll have to have a talk with Hosanna...
