Month of Thanks

Today I am grateful for my bed. It is not made of thin foam boat cushions. It is not triangular so I can actually sleep with my feet slightly apart. It is not closed in on three sides so getting up during the night does not require crawling out the top.

Its not even an air mattress. When my husband rolls over I don't bounce around. Instead of slowly sucking my body heat away all night it holds the heat around me and keeps me warm. My bed is a full 2.5 feet off the ground- a safe distance from imaginary rats and roaches.

I now sleep on a rectangular mattress of springs, pillow top, and comfy goodness.

(For those uninformed- We lived/slept on a boat for 4 years and slept on an air mattress for 1)

Dear Carly and family,
We always find your Facebook so interesting and informational. Have you had any success with the home in Visalia? See you in about 10 days. Yum!
