We invited a few friends from nursery (and Jesse of course) to the park to celebrate Rivka turning two years old. Her friends Jocelyn, Reagan, Reese, Annabelle, Stephanie, Libby, and Jesse were there. Rivy LOVED it. We had a pinatta and bubbles and kazoos and Rivka even got "Backpack" as a birthday present (she has hardly taken it off since then). I need to take her to the park more often; she absolutley loves it and she naps so well afterwards! That evening we had our little family party and she got to open her packages from Nana and Great Grandma Sue. She got so many cute clothes, which she insisted on trying on immediately, but they all paled in comparison with her new cell phone. She has previously broken two of our cell phones and now she has her very own! (thank you Nana!) She has been carrying it around all day in her new little jean purse while wearing "Backpack" of course. The other big news is that I finally cut Rivy's hair. Her hair had actually grown quite long in the back but its so thin and wispy and started looking pretty scraggly so the longer pieces got hacked off. She is really looking like a little girl now, where did my baby go?
