This is Hosanna's victory picture in front of her hospital in David, Panama. We had just checked her out of the hospital and she was still feeling pretty bad. Her equilibrium hadn't gone back to normal yet so she couldn't walk very far without running into something. But she was so excited to be rid of the sick life and come back home!
We had to wait a few days for the next flight back to Bocas, where we live, so we rented a car and saw a few of the sights. David is very flat but has gorgeous mountains right in its backyard so we headed that direction. We stopped to dip our feet in a small waterfall we found.

A wealthy mountain resident has an enormous garden (I mean REALLY huge) that they leave open to the public. With so many avid flower-pickers in the family we knew we couldn't miss out on such a treat. It is called "Mi Jardin es Su Jardin". If you look carefully you can see the bruise on the left of Hosanna's forehead (her left). Yeah that's from the concussion she got a week earlier. Her face is still pretty swollen in these pictures; it took her a while to completely recover from everything.
Below is our little Michael Jackson impersonator- I'm thinking she needs to go to the bathroom? Or maybe she got a mosquito bite in an unfortunate place?
The words flower and water sound EXACTLY the same in Hosanna-speak. Its amazing.

After I"ve made my millions I want to have a garden like THAT.

This post brought tears to my eyes. Brought back memories of all that worry about little Hosanna. I love the picture of her arms up in the air....and then the family shot of you all back together again. Can't wait to see you all soon!
