I have been carrying around a little souvenir from Panama on the bottom of my foot. My first wart. When you don't have health insurance you learn to just live with these kinds of things, fortunately it wasn't painful. But, once the pregnancy hormones kicked in, it became four warts and I started freaking out! My poor diseased foot! Surely there must be something I could do!
I found a home remedy online and gave it a go.
Apple cider vinegar works!!!!!! Its so cool!!!! This post is already gross enough so I won't share the details, but I just want the world to know that there is a cure for warts right in your pantry. No freezing or laser removal needed. You can look online for exactly what to do to treat it if you have this same problem.
I wish all medical problems were this simple to cure.

Yum, this makes me hungry. Pass the Italian dressing please, heavy on the apple cider vinegar.
I have never tried this remedy but it doesn't surprise me. I take apple cider vinegar twice a day, and more if I'm sick.
Carly- give me details! My little Elise has a wart on her knee and I can't bear to think of putting her in pain over a stupid wart!
Please tell me how it works!
I just taped vinegar-soaked cotton balls on the warts at night. I took them off during the day so I wouldn't walk funny but if its on her knee then you could just leave it on all the time I guess. Or just cover it with a bandaid with vinegar.
The warts get blacker and blacker as the roots die. It got really painful for me when I got impatient and started picking at them, but if you wait it out then they just come right off like scabs. It took just over a month for all four of mine to come off, but I think plantars warts are harder to get rid of because they go so deep.
Good luck! And there are tons of pages online about it. This is the best one I found.
