On a serious note, check out this blog: (I'll provide link after you read disclaimer). Disclaimer: it might be depressing, and might bring up unpleasant memories/feelings. Why do I share it? Because I choose not to ignore the bad, the challenging and the downright unfair struggles of life. And this story, like so many others of valiant people who struggle, deserves to be told and heard.
The story is told by a dear church friend of ours- her grown daughter (30yrs +/-) is dying of Leukemia. Bobbie Jo's miracle and her mom's words (Jodie) are inspiring.
My prayer for today is: Lord help me remember the strength and struggles of those who have passed. Mom and Robin and Chris we will never forget you.
