The Seasons in Reverse

Yesterday was 81 degrees. Today it is a high of 54. We hurried off to playgroup this morning, grabbing some sweatshirts in case it was "chilly". We lasted about 20 minutes at the park. Rivka's lips had turned purple and all three kids refused to leave my lap. At least in the dead of winter or summer you can wake up in the morning and know whether to set the thermostat on heat or ac. A Texas spring has no such reliability.
