Whoa man are we glad we aren't in Houston right now. There is a huge hurricane headed straight for H-town. It will probably be a Category 2, but it is so enormous that it is pushing a lot of water towards the Houston area which means a big "storm surge" and lots of flooding. Many homes are only 10 feet or so above sea level and they are expecting a surge of 18-22 feet. Not good. We are looking at another Katrina. Our boat is still there in Clear Lake right off the Galveston Bay, but what about all our friends in the area? Have they all made it out to safety? Will their homes survive? What will happen to that community we called home for 4 years?
Please pray for the victims of this hurricane, for their homes and jobs and safety.

Hey Carly! Do you remember my friend Krysta? She lives in the Houston area with her family now. You can check out what's going on there on her blog. You can access it through mine under Casey and Krysta.
Hey Carly! Have you heard anything about your boat yet. It does NOT look good for the boats off the bay where we live. I hope yours is ok. Seabrook area got hit pretty hard but as far as I know, everyone in the ward is ok. I havent really heard much though. Talk to you soon!
