I found the secret to happiness. Really.
Nothing in this world gets my happy endorphins going like singing at the top of my lungs. Not screaming, mind you, but singing out fully as if you are auditioning for a play. It works best if you have a mop or small child to swing around as you sing. Some of my fave songs:
I Could Have Danced All Night - My Fair Lady
Lovely Night - Cinderella (Rodgers and Hammerstein version)
10 Minutes Ago - Cinderella (R&H version)
Adel Weiss - Sound of Music
Let's Go Fly A Kite - Mary Poppins
Who Will Buy - Oliver
Cinderella - Cinderella (Disney version- the song during the opening sequence)
I Know You - Sleeping Beauty
Part of Your World - Little Mermaid
Let me know if you have any song suggestions. Belt-it-out singing is now part of my daily life.

Those are all of my favorites (minus the Oliver one...I don't know that one) but I also love to belt out Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You"...only when I'm by myself, or at least think that i am by myself.
Now you just need to get Enoch to take a video of you dancing and singing. I would love it!! Great songs. I'm already singing I Could Have Danced All Night. :)
ahahaha I LOVE YOU!!!
I'm gonna give it a shot today, I'll let you know how it goes. :D
I belt out songs when I am driving, and when I am home with Clara. She likes it when I sing, so I sing to her a lot. I really like "Feed the Birds" from Marry Poppins and Supercalifragalisticexpialadocious. I can so picture you dancing around and singing!
My favorite songs to belt out are the anti-Disney, on the verge of being a "bad Mormon" kind of songs. They're loud, have a strong beat, and usually someone singing in a grunty/ yelling voice! haha! Hey- don't judge me!
